The high street also includes many independent retailers and includes plenty of places to stop of for refreshments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.honitonmuseum.co.uk\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.honitonmuseum.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Allhallows Museum of Lace and Local Antiquities <\/a>claims to have one of the most comprehensive collections of Honiton Lace in the world and has on display examples of 17th to early 21st century pieces. Other displays include Honiton pottery, a mid Victorian furnished dolls&#8217; house, toys and war memorabilia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>St Michael&#8217;s Parish Church,<\/strong> which was rebuilt in 1911 after a fire, is situated on a small hill above the town.
