It is reputedly one of the longest villages in England. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In Branscombe<\/strong> you will find the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/holyford.org\/churches\/branscombe\/st-winifreds-church\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/holyford.org\/churches\/branscombe\/st-winifreds-church\/\" target=\"_blank\">Church of Saint Winifred<\/a>, a small primary school, 2 public houses- <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fountainheadinn.com\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.fountainheadinn.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Fountain Head<\/a> and <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/masonsarms.co.uk\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/masonsarms.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Mason&#8217;s Arms<\/a> and 3 National Trust properties- <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nationaltrust.org.uk\/branscombe\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.nationaltrust.org.uk\/branscombe\" target=\"_blank\">The Old Bakery, Manor Mill &amp; Forge<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The village<\/strong> ends at a shingle beach, Branscombe Mouth, which is part of the Jurassic Coast and from here you can start some lovely walks on the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.southwestcoastpath.org.uk\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.southwestcoastpath.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">coast path<\/a>. Going East will take you into Beer and going west will take you towards Sidmouth.
