Branscombe is a small village in a steep valley 4 miles west of Harepath Holidays. It is reputedly one of the longest villages in England.
In Branscombe you will find the Church of Saint Winifred, a small primary school, 2 public houses- The Fountain Head and The Mason’s Arms and 3 National Trust properties- The Old Bakery, Manor Mill & Forge.
The village ends at a shingle beach, Branscombe Mouth, which is part of the Jurassic Coast and from here you can start some lovely walks on the coast path. Going East will take you into Beer and going west will take you towards Sidmouth. Also at Branscombe Mouth is The Sea Shanty cafe.
