Beer is a pretty fishing village nestled into a valley 2 miles west of Seaton. The main street leads from the beach up the valley with Beer Brook running at its side and has pretty gift shops, cafes, and pubs along the way. Every year during Regatta Week races, involving rolling beer barrels along the street, take place.

View across to Seaton from Beer Head

Above Beer is Pecorama, home of the Peco model railway factory and Beer Heights Light Railway. As well as the factory and railway there is a shop, exhibition, gardens and outdoor play area. Pecorama makes for a lovely day out for all the family.

Beer Quarry Caves is situated in the valley side above Beer. Take an hour long guided tour of the caves and learn of the 2000 years of quarry history and the many famous buildings constructed with stone from the caves.
